The drawing is so pretty. I love the 1920s and 1930s. Those periods are completely forgotten. Until "The Artist" came out and became the first silent film since 1929's "Wings" to win Best Picture, the 1920s and 30s remind us of a nearly long-forgotten era of cabaret and classic movies. And, of course, there was the Depression and the Prohibition, and all that jazz (bad pun; sorry, it's a bad habit). And your drawings really capture the essence of those time periods. Great job! Scratch that...WONDERFUL JOB! So...I can see which one's Ruth. Who's the blonde and light brunette?
Indeed. Those periods are just wonderful. I'm in love with "The Artist". I had been waiting a film like this since many years ! Thank you so much for your comment ! The blond and the brunette are her friends and workmates.
Really nicely done. As for the concept - according to the elements of composition and frames, I notice clear similarity to secessionist Alfons Mucha's series of "The Seasons" or "The Gems" . Yours is for me a kind of retro-related variation of that rooted in modern culture contexts. What I like beside this relation to Mucha in this artwork, is the way you planned this triptych. It's well- balanced. Poses of the girls altogether along with the hues , make it looks closed and harmonic , while at the same time- every single one is definitely dynamic object. That makes it not over or underdone in both of this aspects. I like this very much, as well as the colors and vintage look, but this is rather obvious Very well done
Well done, all 3 characters are hitting strong poses and I like the way you've hinted at art nouveau with the borders and background. Love the colour scheme and the outfits fit right in. Overall, dam fine piece of work!!
